Please also take a few moments to browse through our site to familiarize yourself with what we do and the direction our group is heading. If you feel this would be a good match for your family we would love to invite you to come and meet us at an upcoming event.
Due to security concerns, we do ask that you send us an introduction which includes your family name, the ages of your children and a little about yourselves. Also if you know one of our current member families please let us know. We just want to be sure that those who are interested in meeting with us have good intentions. I hope you understand.
Our only requirements for membership is that you are a homeschooling family with at least one member child being at least seven years old. We usually meet during school hours so unfortunately a school attending child would miss most or all of our events. If you are still interested in Roots & Shoots, but attend a school program, check with your school, many schools have a R&S program of their own, or check the R&S website for ideas on how to start your own group through your child's school. |
